Free-styling on human head...
Started for a speed modelling challenge at the French cinema4d forum: based on Otto or Meg ( ^^
), creating a new character within 3 hours. Which I failed to complete, since I took 6 Hours to get something really satisfying...but anyway...
It's HD sculpting in c4d, so no Zbrush stuff
I continued working on him a bit.
This Weekend I reopened the file, and tried to upgrade the skin-shader...
Rendering and textures:
I'm still working on the skin-shader, full procedural. (so, WIP)
Thanks a lot to Wen-JR: in fact area lights are way better to make a "working" skin shader! So, indeed, no more SSS for this one test. Thanx m8 !
Oh and yes, it is a Vray work on materials and rendering, again.
And again, I like the painted look of that test render
